What are DTT targets and how to enter it on the mobile app.
What is DTT? - (Discrete Trial Training)
Data in DTT is collected by breaking down skills into small, teachable steps. Each trial consists of an instruction, a learner response, and a consequence (reinforcement or correction).
Data is recorded on the learner’s response to each trial, including whether the response was correct, incorrect, or prompted. The number of correct responses is tracked.
1. Click on a DTT Target in a running session.
2. Collect data:
- ➖ Client was NOT able to complete step independently
- ➕ Client successfully completed step independently
- +P Client needed a Prompt to complete the step
- ↩ Reverse button to delete the last recorded trial
2. As you collect trial data, notice a record of previous trials will display at the top of the screen:
- Green square= Successful trials
- Red square= Unsuccessful trials
- Yellow square = trial was initiated with a prompt
3. Once all the Trials have been completed in the current run, a Green Border will appear around the data screen, this indicates that the data has been successfully collected and saved.
3. Click on "Start New Run" to proceed to the next run or choose another Target.
