What are Whole and Partial Interval targets and how to record data in the mobile app.
Whole Interval Data
The observation period is divided into equal intervals and data is collected whether the target behavior occurred for the entire duration of each interval.
Data is collected by marking "yes" or "no" for each interval to indicate whether the behavior persisted throughout the whole interval.
1. Click on the Green Play button to start the timer.
2. Once the timer has started after each interval, click on either:
- ✔ = client completed the task at the current prompt level.
- ❌ = client did not complete the task at the current prompt level.
- +P Icon = client needed additional Prompt support
Partial Interval Data:
The observation period is divided into smaller intervals, and data is collected whether the target behavior occurred at any point during each interval, even if it only happened for part of the time.
It provides an estimate of behavior frequency by marking whether the behavior occurred at least once within each interval.
1. Click on the Green Play button to start the timer.
2. Once the timer has started after each interval, click on either:
- ✔ = client completed the task at the current prompt level.
- ❌ = client did not complete the task at the current prompt level.
- +P Icon = client needed additional Prompt support
3. After the first interval is done, it will move automatically on to the next one. And you will start the timer again.
4. Repeat until all steps and trials are complete.
