Taking Task Analysis Data

What is a Task Analysis and how to run it in the mobile app.

What is Task Analysis?

Data is collected by breaking a complex task down into smaller, sequential steps. The observer records whether each individual step in the task is performed correctly or needs assistance. Data collection typically tracks the learner's progress through each step of the task analysis, either independently or with prompting.

How to collect data

1. Click on the box below All Open Targets to start the Task Analysis.

2. Collect data:

• ➖ Client was NOT able to complete step independently
• ➕ Client successfully completed step independently
• +P Client needed a Prompt to complete the step
  • See Prompt explanations here.

4. You can Start a New Run once all the steps are completed.
